The LACFDA’s 2nd Annual Casino Night

Attendees relax with some snacks between games

The Los Angeles County Funeral Directors Association’s 2nd Annual Casino Night was an unforgettable evening filled with camaraderie, celebration, and community support. Hosted at Destiny Funeral Home & Crematory, this year’s event brought funeral professionals from across the region together for a night inspired by the sophistication and excitement of 007 Casino Royale.

Guests arrived dressed to impress, embracing the Casino Royale theme with style and enthusiasm. From the gaming tables to the fun décor, the evening captured the glamour of a classic James Bond experience while creating an inviting atmosphere for fellowship and networking among colleagues and friends in the funeral service profession.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presence of Steve Crawford, President of the California Funeral Directors Association. His attendance underscored the importance of professional unity and continued support within the funeral service community throughout California.

More importantly, the event proved to be a tremendous success in raising a significant amount of money in support of the association’s ongoing efforts and initiatives. The generosity of attendees, sponsors, and supporters demonstrated the strength and dedication of the funeral service community when it comes together for a meaningful cause.

The evening would not have been complete without the incredible catering provided by South Bay Food Company. Guests enjoyed a delicious menu and exceptional hospitality that added to the overall success and enjoyment of the night.

The Los Angeles County Funeral Directors Association extends sincere gratitude to everyone who attended, supported, sponsored, and helped make the 2nd Annual Casino Night such a memorable occasion. Events like these continue to strengthen professional relationships, foster community, and support the future of funeral service in Los Angeles County.

We look forward to next year’s event and another opportunity to come together in fellowship, service, and celebration!
